It's So Pink! Swap

These are for a swap on the artisttradingcards yahoo group. The theme is pink. I used 4 different shades of pink in the background, border, flower, and fiber. I hope they work out for the swap :)
I do enjoy the color pink. I have to say I have always had a harder time incorporating images, paper and other embellishments to make ATCs. I just need to keep at it :)

Tea Time ATC

This ATC I made using rubber stamp images that I created. A good friend of mine was kind and giving enough to offer to make some stamps with images I drew. She is so sweet! I am so appreciative of her kindness!! :)
I drew the tea bag and coffee cup, and this is the first time I used them on an ATC. I did add color to the images using color pencils.

This piece is titled The World of Ava. I didn't think of the title until it was done. After I added all the details and color, it reminded me of my Great Niece Ava. I would have to put her under being eccentric and ecclectic in personality, she is very entertaining...she is truly one of a kind! :)

I worked on two ATCs today! Actually 3, but I'm posting these two because they will be available for trade on a site that I really enjoy trading ATCs on. The one on the right is called Queen of the Hill and on the left is Walking My Puppy. I have never really done mixed media like this, and I'm really likin' it! I worked on this piece for two days. It really only took me a couple of hours to do. I like the idea that I don't necessarily have to have a finished piece to spend time being creativity. I call this So Happy...I know she doesn't really look happy, hence the name. She looks like she was forced to go to a circus or carnival :) This piece measures 5"x8". I used ink, Neo Colors II, and watercolor. I really had fun working on this, getting all messy! :) Until next time...Have a Wonderful Day!
